Mechanical and hydraulic assembly

EFS has a team of engineers and technicians for mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic design, as well as a team of fitters to assemble the products developed. Our multi-disciplinary team is involved in assembly on our premises as well as at the customer’s site for commissioning or maintenance of the product delivered.

DESIGN AND ASSEMBLY OF MECHANICAL AND HYDRAULIC PRODUCTS

Study

  • Analysis of specifications.
  • Definition of flow rates, pressures, temperatures, speeds, displacements, etc.

Design

  • Design of pressurized equipment up to 700 bar for gases and 3000 bar for liquids
  • Design of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams
  • Creation of technical file (parts lists, diagrams)
  • Selection, supply and integration of components
  • Testing

Production

  • Manufacture of pneumatic cabinets
  • Mechanical assembly in test bench

In-house definition of the fluid circuit with full CAD.
Conditioning of the test fluid:

  • Filtration from 90 to 3 µm (double filtration possible to avoid any production stoppage).
  • Temperature control with exchangers from -30 to 130°C.
  • Pressure or vacuum applied to the inlet of the equipment to be tested.
  • Recovery of used fluid for reuse if permitted.
  • Management of cooling circuits with factory water or a dedicated regulated circuit.
  • Lubrication management for mechanical parts with flow and pressure management.

Assembly of test benches:

  • In-house bench design with full CAD.
  • In-house production and assembly of components.
  • Definition of movements and clamping of parts for automated line.
  • Clamping management with pressure applied if necessary to apply a defined force.
  • Validation of production cycle and test time.
  • KPI measurement.

Pneumatic movement management:

  • Air distribution board designed and assembled in-house.
  • Management of multiple pressures for each cylinder to be controlled.
  • On/Off or proportional valve control.
  • PID control if required.
