Reliable, noise-free energy conversion

From the outset, EFS has offered measurement solutions. It is for this reason that the development of the power supply by our design office quickly became essential to limit operating noise. Since powering a sensor is an integral part of its proper operation, EFS has been developing and producing its own power supplies for over 35 years.

  • Energy conversion is used for low-power energy recovery applications (a few milliwatts), but can also be used to other applications where the power can reach several tens of kilowatts.
  • Conversion can be from DC to AC or vice versa. It can also adapt to voltage, current or frequency as required.
    The range of use at both input and output is a determining factor in sizing the converter. Similarly, environmental constraints may be a major factor.

All these factors are taken into account in our design and manufacturing processes, so that we can respond perfectly to the needs expressed by our customers.

 

Fully autonomous solutions for our connected sensorss

Energy recovery is always considered beforehand. It’s perfectly suited to isolated sensors and limits maintenance and installation costs. Of course, it’s also good for the environment because it reduces the amount of equipment to be installed and requires no external energy.

However, if this recovery is not possible, we do our utmost to limit the consumption of our solutions as much as possible, in order to reduce our environmental impact as much as possible, as well as cutting costs for our customers.

Similarly, on applications using actuators, energy re-injection is also a solution considered depending on the application.
