APC, synchronization signal generator
APC – ANGULAR PULSE CONVERTER
The APC (Angular Pulse Converter) rack is designed to generate the synchronization signals present on the various components of an engine (CAM and CRANK signals), as well as the signals required by the measurement equipment on an injection test bench (EFS 8549, EFS 8888, etc.). These signals are fully programmable.
The APC module can be integrated into a test bench and can be synchronized to the signals delivered by a variable reluctance sensor or an incremental encoder, coupled to the injection pump..
It can also generate its own signals, independently, using its internal clock.
ADAPTABLE
Configurable toothed wheel for the adaptation of any type of engine ECU
SYNCHRONIZATION
Allows all equipment connected to the motor to be linked by time and angle references
MOTOR ROTATION
Provides the angular topology to operate the motor
SYNCHRONIZATION SIGNALS
The output signals are the crankshaft and camshaft signals for various devices that need to be synchronized with these rotations. The speed ratio between the encoder and the camshaft speed is programmable.
The APC module can also operate as a stand-alone signal generator. The APC generates the following synchronization signals at camshaft speed:
- 1/REV>
- 3600/REV
- N1/REV
- N2/REV
- Camshaft signals
- Crankshaft signals
