HIGH-FLOW INSTANTANEOUS FLOWMETER: EMI 1500-3000-6000
The high-flow flowmeter for characterizing boat and train injectors
The instantaneous high-flow flowmeter 1500-3000-6000 is used on production lines to check injectors or injection pumps, but can also be used to set engine parameters.
This mechanics is dedicated to test ship or train engines, as it allows a large volume to be injected per revolution.
This system, allowing the measurement of high flow rates, is therefore suitable for testing older systems (inline pumps) as well as more recent systems (unit pumps or common rail).
This mechanism, combined with the E8888 electronic rack, allows up to 5 injection measurements per revolution.
Fields of application
- Trucks
- Boats
- Trains
If your application are not within the scope of the high flow instantaneous flowmeter, please consult our other equipment : reference flowmeter: EMI3

High flow
It is ideal for testing ship or train engines, as it allows for a large injected volume per cycle.
ACCURATE
Highly accurate measurement of each injected volume thanks to a perfectly controlled measurement principle
RESPONSIVE
The right measurement is immediately available, regardless of variations between injections
VERSATILE
A single piece of equipment for a variety of uses: on a table, integrated into an existing bench, in a complete EFS bench, etc.
Composition of the high-flow instantaneous flowmeter EMI 3000
- A mechanism housing the nozzle holder and the measurement system
- Electronics (3U 19″ rack) managing the measurement cycle and performing all the calculations at each revolution
- xEMI3 software
- Two 8-metre cables.
- An Ethernet link for connection to the PC
xEMI3 is a supervision interface between the user and the measuring device This software runs under the Windows ® operating system and uses an Ethernet link.
